In this interaction between two males, the beagle takes a frontal stance, standing tall and barking at the German Shepherd. I ask the owner of the German Shepherd to walk forward towards the Beagle, to remove the responsibility of controlling the German Shepherd. The German Shepherd moves nearer, seeks support from his owner, and then approaches the Beagle. The Beagle lifts a front paw, avoiding eye contact, then lowers his tail, arches his back, and moves away.
