Circling / Turning around someone or something

The dog turns around his opponent or walks around an object or another individual.

The male German Shepherd is turning around a female Golden Retriever.The female's ears are pinned back, her tail is down and she is freezing.

In this interaction between two males, the Australian Shepherd and Border Collie approach each other and face off. The Border Collie sniffs the muzzle of the Australian Shepherd, then wags his tail and licks his nose. The Australian approaches and attempts to display chin over the shoulders of the Border Collie, who raises his head. The Australian then turns around the Border Collie, exhibiting anal olfactory exploration. The Border Collie freezes, licks his nose and orients his head toward the Australian Shepherd. The Australian flicks his tongue, walks slowly and hunches his back, then circles around the Border Collie, who lowers his head, then tail, then moves away.
