Fence Fighting

A fight from behind a barrier, with threat displays and attempts to bite, barking and growl-barking. The dog may bite or attempt to break through the fence or other barrier.

In this interaction between two males, the Cane Corso and the mixed breed engage in a fence fight. Both dogs are in a frontal stance, and exhibiting growl-barking associated with an agonistic pucker. The mixed breed rests his front legs on the wire fence, and is holding his eyes at a level higher than that of his rival's. The mixed breed reacts with alarm when a person approaches, re-positioning himself in a frontal stance and licking his nose; the Cane Corso growl-barks, then averts his gaze, the two dogs wag their tails, and the Cane Corso moves away, leaving the interaction.
