Flight
A dog runs quickly away from another dog. This
behaviour differs from avoidance in that it is exhibited
at a fast trot or gallop, rather than at a walk or slow
trot, and may include an attempt to seek refuge and to
find a place to hide or feel safe.

This mixed breed male is sitting near the exit gate,
swallowing and panting, ears pinned back. A male German
Shepherd approaches, at first with head lowered. He then
moves closer with head raised and a slightly indirect
curve, exhibiting tongue flicking and an offensive
facial display. The German Shepherd licks his nose and
walks stiffly towards the mixed breed dog's shoulder.
The black male whines and flees,
licking his nose, then stops and stands still, panting.
