This male Belgian Malinois was photographed during a Mondioring competition. He is sitting on command, and as his handler returns toward him, the dog turns his head and exhibits an exit stare.

VIDEO

large screen
This video was filmed during a behaviour evaluation. The male Pit Bull stares toward the exit, with head and tail up. When the evaluator begins to speak, the dog turns his head slightly and flicks his tongue. When the woman touches him, the dog holds his tail high, wagging it. He pins his ears back, turns his head and touches her arm with his nose, then licks his nose and again stares at the exit.
