The Staffordshire Bull Terrier bitch gallops toward the female Australian Shepherd cross. The two females display olfactory exploration, turning around each other, with the Staffordshire displaying raised hackles and piloerector reflex visible also along the croup. The Staffordshire turns and assumes position T2, with foreleg raised; the Australian cross circles around her, and assumes T1 position, with chin over and a leg over the Staffordshire's back. The Staffordshire swerves away and re-orients frontally; the Australian cross again assumes T1 position with chin over and places a leg over the back of the Staffordshire, who reacts with a shoulder/hip slam and then sniffs the inguinal area of the Australian cross, who moves away. The Staffordshire follows her, overtakes her and rears up to stare in her eyes, then cuts across her path, then crosses the path of the Border Collie belonging to the same family group.
